Building Inclusive Teams Through Personality Dimensions

Half-day Workshop (3 Teaching Hours)

Everyone is unique with their own values, strengths, joys and stressors. Understanding each other builds strong foundations for all of our personal and professional relationships. However, as John Gottman explains, conflict is inevitable. When people have deep knowledge of each other, conflict is unlikely to escalate. Personality Dimensions provides a foundation for solid communication and strategies for building a strong community.

In this workshop participants will:

  • Understand their own strengths and weaknesses;
  • Recognize and understand the strengths and preferences of others;
  • Learn ways to improve communication and interpersonal relationships;
  • Realize that our differences are “gifts’ and not faults;
  • Make connections to emotional intelligence;
  • Develop a plan for moving forward in working with others.

“Personality is less a finished product than a transitive process. While it has some stable features, it is at the same time continually undergoing change.”

~ Gordon W. Allport
